He uses cutting-edge technology, along with his 30+ years of lending experience, to provide the kind of warp-speed service and efficiency you may expect from a machine. So how exactly did Dean become the mortgage lending cyborg we all know as Dean “The Mortgage Machine”? It started with a freak accident while creating the technology for Local Lending Oklahoma. He found that each of his clients benefited from cyborg technology combined with the the best qualities of a human. Dean makes sure his clients never have to compromise by offering local lending, professionalism, personality, as well as human knowledge and the best technology the mortgage industry has to offer.
Being part machine hasn’t kept him from continuing to enjoy his human life as well. When he isn’t working mortgage loans, he spends time cycling, running, or enjoying sports. But his favorite is simply being with the human he married and his four outstanding human children.

2017 - Due to a crazy office accident, Dean Slatev turned into the Mortgage Cyborg Dean “The Mortgage Machine” when Local Lending Oklahoma was created and opened
2017 - Started Local Lending Oklahoma, an innovative mortgage brokerage
2015 - Joined the Santa Fe Family Life Center Board of Directors and has held different positions including Vice President
2010 - Honored with the Kjell Tovander Award for Most Inspirational Runner at the Route 66 Tulsa Marathon
2009 - Joined Jim Thorpe Executive Council and became a member of the Board of Trustees with the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. He has also served as committee member of the Jim Thorpe Award, given annually to College Football's Most Outstanding Defensive Back in the Country and Committee Chair for Drug-Free Red Ribbon Program
2006 - Suffered a major stroke that could have killed him
2000 - Officially started in the mortgage lending business
1992 - Began working in consumer financing
1992 - Graduated University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos
1987 - Graduated Putnam City High School Pirates
